Today is the first day of the rest of the book. Before I head back to the comma mines to get to page 500, I had some awesome news today, resulting in cake and gin cocktails.

Tor will be publishing my Heroic Hookers Of The Outermost Wild West novel, Karen Memory, probably in 2015.

Well, that's 1500 words of Karen Memory, which finishes off chapter two.

Which I think is the writing sample part of this proposal.

Now I just have to write a synopsis, and I can send it in.

I'm kind of excited by this project.

I have had a very productive workday. Got up, went for a run with TBRE and the GRD, worked from 8-10 on Shadow Unit stuff and then started in in seriousness on the proposal for the Heroic Hookers of the Old West Steampunk YA Novel, which will henceforth be known by the working title of Karen Memory.
